Literally Translated from the French as “The Raisers of Elbows” being Paris 2015 Revelers in the same tradition as Mardi Gras Revelers in Louisiana, when the participants are masked, drink alcohol, and eat a ceremonial meal. In Paris, the revelers go to series of Cafes and Bars, drinking tiny amount (shot glasses) of wine from many, many establishments. The ceremonial meal with food before the revelers travel to different cafes and bars. Each group of revelers (krewe in Louisiana speak) is sponsored by an organization and are dressed according to a theme.
